Hyderabad – 10 October, 2025
XDLINX Space Labs, a global innovator in small satellite technologies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan-based BULL Co., Ltd., an emerging leader in debris mitigation and orbital utilisation. Together, the two companies will collaborate on space debris mitigation for satellites, promoting sustainable satellite operations.
This collaboration represents a significant step toward ensuring sustainable space operations. BULL’s cutting-edge post-mission disposal device will be integrated with XDLINX’s versatile satellite platform, promoting responsible satellite lifecycle management. The partnership aims to validate BULL’s HORN system through an in-orbit demonstration on XDLINX satellite after 2026, paving the way for its full integration into future XDLINX platforms.
“As the number of satellites in LEO continues to rise, it has become essential to address sustainability of space assets. Collaborating with BULL enables us to offer a viable platform towards developing solutions that mitigate issues related to space debris and promote responsible satellite operations. This partnership helps make our missions safer and more sustainable, reflecting XDLINX’s commitment to building satellite systems that are efficient, reliable, and responsible,” said Rupesh Gandupalli, CEO & Co-Founder of XDLINX Space Labs.
“BULL, as a startup originating from Japan, is committed to creating a new standard for the global space industry. Our collaboration with XDLINX represents a highly significant step toward enhancing the sustainability of space activities. By applying BULL’s Post Mission Disposal (PMD) technology to satellites developed by XDLINX, we will help ensure that satellites, once their missions are complete, do not become new sources of debris. Building on the networks we have established in Japan and Europe, and now expanding to include India, BULL will advance its initiatives under a truly global framework of cooperation,” said Yasuhito Uto, CEO of BULL Co., Ltd.
Through this collaboration, XDLINX Space Labs and BULL Co., Ltd. aim to promote sustainable and responsible space operations for future missions.
