Technical expertise
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and validating precision optical systems such as telescopes, optical systems for imaging, laser applications and metrology.
- Designing in Opticstudio Zemax or Code V.
- Develop setups and execute experiments in cleanroom to assess optical systems.
- knowledge of designing optomechanical mounting for optics using Solidworks or any CAD designing software.
- Analyzing the data with Matlab or python.
- Documentation of the design, testing methodology and results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D in Optical Engineering, Physics with Photonics specialization or a related field.
